MUSIC AT HANG DAI

At Hang Dai the music, how it’s delivered and the surroundings are very important to us. During the early development days it was always planned for the space not to just be a restaurant but to evolve into something else as the night progresses, especially at the weekend. With a massive love for vinyl and analog sounds the idea to make a restaurant/music bar with a detailed focus on Hi-Fi and acoustics became the mission. Conversations with Toby Hatchett of Hatchett Sound began, advise from Justin Greenslade from Isonoe was absorbed and consultations with acoustic technicians from as far as Italy became a regular thing. After a two year development and build Hang Dai was born on Halloween 2016 with a custom built soundsystem, isolated dj booth, acoustically treated room and a “Saturday Night Fever” dancefloor on the ceiling.
